About
Dr. Brittany Webb
Webb Pelvic PT was founded by Dr. Brittany Webb a Physical Therapist certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas State University and upon graduation began her career in the US Army as a Physical Therapist. She served 4 years of active duty in Fort Carson, Colorado where she discovered her passion for helping both men and women suffering from conditions affecting the pelvis and pelvic floor region. This motivated her to pursue additional training and mentorship in that specialty. She developed the Pelvic Health/Women’s Health program at Evans Army Community Hospital in Colorado to ensure that Soldiers and their families had access to pelvic floor physical therapy. After completing her time in the Army, she moved back to the wonderful state of Texas with her husband and daughter. Not long after, she received her Board-Certification in Women’s Health Physical Therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and the home health setting. She is thankful for her experience in the military which provided her invaluable experience and training in trigger point dry needling, Women’s Health/Pelvic health, post-operative orthopedic care, injury prevention, and general health and wellness initiatives. She enjoys spending time outdoors, and traveling with her husband and now two children

FAQ's
-
Do I need a referral for Physical Therapy to start? Who can make a referral?Yes. We can technically perform the First Visit/Evaluation without one, but you will need one within the first two weeks of starting. It is best to start with a referral, so that you can continue to be seen without waiting on the referral. Primary Care Physicians (NP, PA, MD, DO), OBGYN, Podiatry, and Chiropractor's are all able to make referrals to PT.
-
I’m currently pregnant and I am not having any issues so far, should I start therapy prior to delivery?Yes, it is highly recommended to start during pregnancy so that we are able to teach you how to connect with the pelvis and pelvic floor muscles and help prepare your body for childbirth. This will also assist you when recovering postpartum.
-
How many weeks postpartum do you suggest coming in to start pelvic floor physical therapy?Usually you can come in for an evaluation at 6 weeks postpartum, however, if you had a strenuous delivery and were told you had a grade 3-4 perineal tear OR you had a C-section, it's advised that you come in sooner than later. If unsure, don’t hesitate to call for more guidance.
-
I am more than 5 years postpartum, but I am still having issues and feel that I never recovered postpartum, is it too late? No, even if you were 20+ years postpartum, it is still never too late to start pelvic floor physical therapy. We have been able to see success in many women who are only a few weeks postpartum all the way up to 20+ years postpartum.
-
How long will it take for me to fully recover once I start therapy? Each person is completely different in how their body recovers and responds, but most people are able to see good progress by 3-4 weeks with consistency of therapy treatments.
